Enforcer - Death By Fire (2013)

This album is a real gem and worth looking for music downloads for it. Everybody and their grandmother have heard about the New Wave Of Traditional Metal by now. Like all of the 80's revival movements, most of it is mediocre rehash but there is a small handful of true quality amongst it. Enforcer are in that small handful along with Skull Fist, Ruler and Ranger of new heavy/speed metal bands whose material can stand toe to toe with the 80's classic albums.

Enforcer emerged onto the scene in 2008 with their album, "Into The Night". It was entertaining albeit mild in quality however they made a big jump in quality with the 2010 album, "Diamonds" which was received very well by the scene. This follow up album "Death By Fire", which was released in 2013, is a bigger improvement on their last album for me after hearing mp3 album downloads of it. That isn't the common consensus as most fans pen the "Diamonds" album as the peak of their powers. Personally I think this album is better as the sound is more in your face and the vocals are too.

The music plays out as heavily influenced by the NWOBHM and Iron Maiden but with a strong leaning towards speed and high pitched vocals which sound like Geddy Lee after he's taken a kick to his nether region! You can hear an mp3 upload of the track "Mesmerized by Fire" above. Album highlights include the aforementioned "Mesmerised By Fire" with it's thrashy main riff and salute to Tygers Of Pan Tang midway through, "Take Me Out OF This Nightmare", "Death Rides This Night" and "Silent Hour/The Conjuration". Check out some mp3 downloads of the tracks I recommended and if they hit the spot go buy it from amazon.
