Kreator made a solid impact with their debut album "Endless Pain" in 1985 with a superb slab of warp speed thrash garnished with Mille Petrozza's unique harsh vocals. Eons of proceeding extreme metal vocalists should pay royalties to his style. In 1986, they followed up with the "pleasure to kill" album where they left off with blistering speeds, "zombie with a sore head" vocals and a malevolent guitar tone. However this time with better production and an absolute treasure chest of neck cracking riffs on this album. All of the album tracks, including the ones from the "Flag Of Hate" EP, are a blast. One of those rare albums where you'll be entertained until there's peace and quiet, but you'll have to go through a hellstorm of violence before you get there. It's so ferocious and demonic in it's spirit that you can't believe your ears...You can hear an mp3 album upload of the title track above. That mp3 album upload showcases exactly what the album has to offer.

Standouts on the album would be the title track for it's "Bigger than Jesus" half time riff break, "Carrion" has another huge one and "Riot Of Violence" has an epic main riff. You also have "Take Their Lives" with an awesome chuggy catchy number and "Awakening of The Gods" is possibly the crown jewel. Kreator's best release and fully deserving of it's status as one of the unholy trinity of 1986 alongside "Darkness Descends" and "Reign In Blood". Check out mp3 album downloads of the tracks I mentioned and buy the album from amazon if it's your thing.
